ABOUT
Gabrielle Estey is a Los Angeles–based actor, writer, and comedian working across stand-up, improv, and scripted comedy. She brings a writer’s brain to her performances and a performer’s instincts to the page, gravitating toward comedy that’s intelligent, vulnerable, and deeply aware of the absurdities of modern life.

She can most recently be seen in the short film Sorry, Dumpling—an Official Selection of the Portland Film Festival, the Big Apple Film Festival, and LA Shorts International Film Festival—as well as performing in immersive theater productions across Los Angeles as a regular cast member with American Immersion Theater.

As a Writer, Gabrielle develops original work for film, television, and the web. Her scripts have placed in competitions including the CineStory Foundation, the Austin Film Festival, and the Page International Screenwriting Awards. She has also written and performed stand-up throughout Los Angeles, with appearances at the HaHa Cafe, Flappers, and The Comedy Store – Hollywood.

When she’s not writing or performing, Gabrielle is developing new projects, planning her next international trip, or unsuccessfully attempting to train her German Shepherd.

Gabrielle holds a BA in Cinema Studies with a minor in Screenwriting from the University of Southern California.
